To be honest, this taper is for the ambitious. The Tall Order taper is for anyone who appreciates the long-haul process it takes to hand-make a taper candle that reaches such great heights. These are made for the love of the process, and quite frankly, because we like the challenge.
Each candle takes about four days to make because of its height and the time beeswax needs to cure. Individually crafted, each Tall Order taper is over-poured by hand the traditional way, up to 35 times, with filtered molten beeswax, layer by layer. At 18 and 21 inches, they stand head and shoulders above most tapers, making a statement in any room. Each one burns cleanly for about 18–21 hours.
Our beeswax comes from small-scale beekeepers and is ethically sourced. We don't use paraffin, chemicals, or synthetic dyes. We use non-toxic, eco-friendly colorants.
